Alright my boyfriend is going to go visit his family in Peru, we live in Washington state. He hasn’t been home in two years and hasn’t seen his brothers in about a year, his mom in more then over six months. We would like to get them some gits sense we missed Christmas and their birthdays. I know what to get his mother (she has the same taste in Jewelery as I do) But his brothers are a bit tougher. There 14 and 17 I think. The gift should be something small so it could fit in a suit case.

So in short what sort of gift do you think we should get a 14 year old and a 17 year old boys who live in Peru?

My sister-in-law told me to send my husband to Peru, his home town, for a surprise 40th birthday. I told her I couldn’t afford it. Later, she sends me an e-mail saying that she will pay my husbands plane fare, but she states that it’s only $500. I looked at the fares and they were more like $860 per person. I’m assuming that I will have to put the other amount. Do you think I am unreasonable to get my feelings hurt because I’m not invited also? My birthday is 9 days later after my husbands. Or should I tell her thank you for the invite but my husband will pass up this opportunity?
