My sister is married to a JERK w/plenty of money, he went to Peru to meet his “girlfriend” and all but emptied their accounts. She only has $60.00 until he gets home for herself and their 10 year old adopted son. Is there any thing she can do, or any where she can go for financial assistance. Or to get the JERK in trouble? She has no job or life skills, (yes, which I agree is completely her fault.) But, this still does not help her now, with her expenses or immediate needs. I don’t know if she’d qualify for WIC, or any other financial aid……Thanks for any help you can offer.
In the past, he has left enough money in the account for the house and car payments to be made, but as the marriage goes on, he is providing less and less. And, yes, while fast food requires no skills, it does not support day care and basic food needs.
She has been looking for employment, and was offered a job yesterday, but needs to find day care before she can accept it. But, this does not meet her immediate financial needs. It takes 2 weeks to get a first pay check and I’m not sure if the job can be held. I don’t know how long the Jerk will be gone either. And, yes, my Mom lives close by and is a good & solid example for her Grandson.
