Hi, I work as a remote technician for a USA company from Peru. I connect to the costumer’s computer that’s having problems and I fix it. The thing is I get paid very little and the company charges the costumers $149 flat fee for a connection. I sometimes have 5 to 6 connections at a time and cannot focus on one computer. I want to be able to connect to computers (in the USA) from home (here in Peru) so that I can focus on their issue and resolve it. I want to be able to get the costumer full focus on the issue they are having and do other tweaks to their computer. Any ideals on how this would work without going against the company I currently work for? Give me some things I need to think about before launching out to the public?
How do I start my own business?

I know some companies have a “no compete” clause in their contracts. However, if you feel like you aren’t getting paid enough, maybe you could find another company to work for or talk to someone about raising your pay. If nothing else, start up your own company. I know that’s one reason that the US outsources, it’s cheaper… ;(
The thing about starting your own business is that you might not make as much starting out.
Good luck!
