I live in Pennsylvania and the day after Christmas we go down to my Grandma's house in North Carolina. Its really cool because my mom was one of six kids in her family. We had up to 32 people in the house and it wasn't even everyone.

We are American, but mostly of German and Scandinavian decent. My family has always eaten oyster stew on Christmas Eve, and then opened all the presents from the family. My Auntie makes stollen, a sweet bread. On Christmas morning we wake to find the presents Santa has left! We usually have roast beef, turkey or ham, depending on the year, for dinner and all the relatives come over for an open house. We also play party games, like Pictionary or Balderdash. Usually the day after (Dec. 26) the whole family goes skiing. (We live in the Rockies) I guess that's not really "cultural" but it's what my family does!
