foot f asked:
Thier only other experience was in Latin American countries, So in effect they are saying that policies on race, humanity, civil rights and so forth are more evolved in thier home countries, such as Mexico, Peru, El Salvador etc, are they out of thier minds
I really think thier is a massive brainwashing going on here with uneducated people by pro-illegal anti-American activists such as La Raza
anyone agree or disagree

Agree.
When my ancestors came to this country they did not think they have an inherent “right” to live here and a sense of entitlement.
They worked hard. They learned to speak English. They admired and respected America and felt a sense of gratitude to be a part of their new country and they wanted to be a PART of it not just suckle at the teat of public welfare and sneak in illegally and expect the taxpayers to carry them and educate their children.
They did not expect and demand that government documentation be translated into Gaelic and Italian— they learned ENGLISH.
I think the majority of immigrants come here legally and work hard and do appreciate the opportunity but the ones with a sense of entitlement make me want to vomit. It was actually gratifying to see the mass demonstrations by pro-illegal immigration supporters fail miserably. All it did was anger the already irate American public on this serious issue.
I do feel compassion for the people who want to come here and I don’t blame them. However they do not have the right to violate our laws and they do not have the right to decrease the quality of life for the people who live here legally. If you want to come here, come here legally and CONTRIBUTE to making this a better place to live don’t feed on the carcass this country is becoming like a maggot. Thanks.
Lou Dobbs for president!!!!
I would completely agree with that. It is amazing how people from other countries point their fingers at us and say that we are violators of human rights when in reality we all know that the USA has more freedoms than any other country in the world.
I think part of our problem today is that when people come into our country they are unwilling to adopt our culture. They say that we need to be more open minded and accept everything about their own culture readily. When immigrants came to our country 100 years ago, they were eager to become Americans. They learned the language and accepted much of our culture and traditions – not to say that they forgot where they came from, but they were willing to try and become a part of the culture and not stay apart from our culture.
Instead, as you said the people have been so brainwashed in their own countries, they learn to believe that we are basically evil and they want nothing to do with us (even if they sneak in here to try and live off of us.)
I am sorry and i am not talking Just Mexico, Peru, El Salvador .IN less you have had to go through it you should not talk.I am American.I have had to fight to bring my wife here. The immigrations Laws are a bunch of bull.If all ours ancestors had to go through all people had to go through,A lot of people that live here now and in the past would not be here. These laws go against civil rights. If you think there right. Then let change the laws .So that when you marry, You will have to prove that you can support provide our wife. and fill out and file about 25 different forms in triplets. Then pay out about 120.00 to 190.00 dollars per forms.and that is just the beginning.Plus you have to be apart till the approve everything.
